Nickel Museum Rohrmoos

description
The Nickel Museum is a giant “walkable showcase” housing a permanent exhibition which impressively documents the mining tradition of the Schladming region. The central focus is on the processing and subsequent use of nickel, once and even now a highly sought-after metal.Traces of the past leave a lasting impression on visitors, while the extraordinarily dangerous work of the miners becomes clearly evident. The imp, whose name also happens to be “Nickel”, also injects extra life into the exhibition for kids, motivating them to learn even more.
